What a horrible loss for all who knew her. Libby was one of the
sweetest and most beautiful Weimaraners we have bred or known. She was
a perfect companion for her family, Raymond & Carol Lacour
& their two children and their Bichon. She greeted people with
her "ooh-aahs", and was just high on life.
She never did anything wrong. Well, except for that time she chewed up
the Yellow Book in the hotel room, page by page. But, we forgave her
for that because she had just gone Reserve Winners Bitch and Best Bred
By Exhibitor at the 2008 WCA National Specialty. Her other show
achievements were numerous, and at the time of her death, she was
ranked #3 Weimaraner in the country.
Libby's life was short, but she made an incredible impact during the
time she was with us. Her quality went beyond her structural beauty.
She had a great mind, and she used it! She was the kind of Weimaraner
that made anyone want to own the breed. We all remain
devastated by her loss.

Tampa was such a special dog. When he and his littermates were 8 weeks
old, Edwin Lenaerts of Greyclassics Weimaraner in Belgium flew to
Florida to pick out his puppy. However, Tampa stayed with us for about
14 months, earning his Canadian & American titles before
heading to Europe, where he continued his winning ways, and became a
prepotent sire, passing on his beautiful head, terrific breed type, and
great reach and drive.
The day Edwin returned to the USA to take Tampa to Belgium, we cried
for hours at the thought of never seeing him again. When we received
the call that Tampa had died in his sleep, we were devastated and
heart-broken. We miss him terribly, but he will live on through some of
his beautiful get.

Pilot was from the first Unity litter. He was the "leftover" puppy, who
stayed with us until he was about six months old. At that time, he went
to live with Rena Van Steele, and he became the most excellent dog she
has ever known. He accompanied her to work, to the beach, and on any
kind of excursion imaginable. Pilot had friends everywhere he
went. Despite never being entered in a show, Pilot was #1
with all of us.

"Pretty Pash" was purchased to be the foundation bitch for Kinetic
Dobermans, but in three attempts at breeding her, she only ever
produced one puppy - Elite. Still, Passion was an integral part of my
life for many years. Upon her retirement, she went to live out her life
with Dolores Kautz, a good and long time family friend. There, Passion
excelled as the Queen of her domain, and she relished in the warm
sunshine. as she patrolled the orchards on her family's property.

July 29, 2004 - December 7, 2007 (veterinary negligence)
Antsy was, well... antsy. Her name fit her perfectly, as she was
a bundle of wiggles. Her personality was full of humor, and she could
be found rolling on her back, smiling at us, or just wiggling her
entire body. Upon her retirement from the show ring and motherhood,
Antsy went to live with her daughter Addy in the home of Jen Schaaff
& Andy Harden.
With them, she learned to love the fun
things in life, such as boating, the beach, birds, and the mulch pit.
Sadly, Antsy died due to veterinary negligence. You can
read her story
here, as it was published in
The
Weimaraner Magazine.

If tears could build a stairway, and heartache make a lane, I'd walk
the path to Heaven, and bring you back again. Elite, every day that
passes, I think of you. The pain is as real today as the day you left
us. Sleep softly, my girl. You were THE BEST.
I will never forget the day I said good bye to this wonderful dog. She
had undergone surgery to remove multiple tumors, but her body was just
not strong enough to recover. She had the best veterinary care
available. I sat with her for hours, cried, put my head on her,
massaged her, and talked sweetly to her, just begging her to live, but
it wasn't meant to be. She was was the best dog: trustworthy with and
loving of all children, protective of her home and her people, smart as
a whip, and so very, very loyal. There will never be another one like
her - nor should there be.

Flex was the second Doberman I ever owned, and he quickly became my
soulmate, as he was with me through thick and thin. He taught me what
it meant to own a male Doberman, how to show and what it took
to special a special dog, and let's not forget the trials and
tribulations of obedience with an intact male! Most of all, Flex taught
me what it was like to know a dog who would lay down his life for me.
He was the most perceptive and intelligent dog I have owned.
He adpated well to life in Florida, following me around the yard daily,
fetching grapefruits and being tempted by the fish jumping in the
canal. His spark and zest for life was unflinching.
