George gets his namesake from George Govette, the man who collected and stored semen from Ch Colsidex Big Spender (Robert). After 25 years of sitting in liquid nitrogen, that semen thawed at over 90% motility and was used to create "The Bobs", of which George was one.

George is owned by Judy Colan, and we are sure that with the water supply in Foster, RI, George will grow up to be an outstanding dog. On a recent visit to see Judy and George, it was great to see him hanging out with grandpa Clifford and cousin Ribbons.
