About Us
Greg McLogan

In 1997, Greg purchased his first Weimaraner from Joan Valdez of Valmar Kennels. That dog became Am/Can Ch. Valmar's Unanimous
Decision, NSD CGC. Greg had
wanted a Weimaraner ever since he was a teen, but his neighbors had a
Viszla that was mal-behaved, so Greg's parents opted for a Golden
Retriever as the family pet rather than a Weim. Once he was on his
own, Greg was free to fulfill his dream of owning a Grey Ghost.
He decided to try showing Dakota, and was instantly hooked on the sport as he won
a major his third time in the ring. This began his involvement in the show
world, and Dakota would go on to achieve great things, both as a show
dog and as a sire. A few years later, Greg purchased a bitch from Vicki
Ruiz and Joan Valdez, and eventually imported and purchased Ch.
Juscanis Mater Ad Colsidex, who is the foundation of Unity Weimaraners.

While Dakota was being campaigned, Greg assisted professional handlers,
Pam & Al Sage. The skills and knowledge gleaned from his time
working for these first rate handlers could never be adequately
explained in print, but suffice it to say that Greg is very grateful to
Pam & Al for all their teachings about dog shows, breeding and
so much more!
As a handler, Greg has shown multiple dogs to Best in Futurity, Best in
Maturity, Best in Specialties, Group wins, and many other tremendous wins.
Professsionally, Greg is an independent contract engineer in the marine
industry. He has been a member of the Weimaraner Club of America since
1997, and in 2008 was a member of the Code of Ethics committee,
responsible for rewriting the WCA's Code of Ethics.
Amy Tourond

Amy purchased her first Doberman in 1995 (living in Canada at the
time), after years of searching and planning to add a companion jogging
buddy. Six months later, a second dog followed (Flex), and she began
showing both dogs in conformation and obedience. Both attained their
Canadian titles, and Flex also eaned his CD, TT, WAC, ROMC and was
pointed in the USA.
Flex was among the Top 10 Dobermans in Canada for two consecutive
years, and won many groups, owner handled. In 2002 and 2003, Amy had
the opportunity to show Ch. Fabert's Forever Tango, WAC. Together, Amy
& Tango won 10 all breed Best in Shows, a Specialty, and
became the #2 Doberman and #8 Working dog in the country.
Like
Greg, Amy also had the opportunity to travel with and assist
professional handlers. Amy has won multiple Best in Shows, Best in
Specialty Shows, Sweepstakes and National class wins on dogs she has
bred or owned.

She is heavily involved in the dog world,
being the editor of The Weimaraner Magazine, the official monthly
publication for the Weimaraner Club of America. She is also employed by
Doll-McGinnis Publications and is the Editor & Advertising Director
of The Doberman Digest, and handles all ad sales for Working breeds for
the all-breed magazine, ShowSight.
She has been a member of
the Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada since 1995, the Doberman Pinscher
Club of America and the Weimaraner Club of America since 2004.
Greg
& Amy have been breeding dogs together since 2004. In a very
limited breeding program, they have produced obedience, agility, hunt
& ratings titled dogs, as well as BIS, BISS, Futurity, Maturity,
Group winners and much more.
